DKD-III was a Polish high-wing aircraft from the interwar period. The flight of the machine took place in 1927. The plane was 5.2 meters long with a wingspan of probably 8.4 meters. The drive was provided by a single Anzani engine with 45 HP. The machine did not have any permanent on-board armament. The DKD-III was developed and constructed by Stanisław Działowski, who redesigned the crashed DKD-I plane by using a completely new fuselage and undercarriage, while maintaining the current airfoil and general configuration of the machine. The plane entered the 1st Avionette Competition, where it took 4th place. A year later, it was redesigned, which resulted in an increase in the weight of the machine. Quite commonly, it is considered one of the first sports aircraft of completely Polish construction from the interwar period. In total, he made over 1,800 flights, showing correct flight characteristics.
