Unfortunately for this positive symbol, the swastika was used by Adolf Hitler as a symbol of NASDAP and Nazism as such. It was also used on the official flags and flags of the Third Reich and as a symbol of German planes during World War II. At that time, it was painted especially on the horizontal stabilizers of machines. In the years 1933-1945, the swastika became in the Western cultural circle a sign equated precisely with Nazism, but also more broadly - with evil, terror and genocide. For this reason, in many countries after 1945, its use was prohibited by law. It is worth adding that the swastika was also used to designate Finnish (in 1918-1945) and Latvian (until 1940) aircraft.
