The Stridsvagn m / 39 (another designation: L-60 M / 39) was a Swedish light tank from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this car were made in 1939, and soon it entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single engine Sacania-Vabis with 142 hp. The armament consisted of a 37mm Bofors cannon and an 8mm machine gun coupled to it. The Stridsvagn m / 39 was developed as a development of the Stridsvagn m / 38, which entered the Swedish army in the late 1930s. Compared to its predecessor, the new tank featured a new propulsion unit of the native design, changed additional armament, but most of all - thicker armor, providing better ballistic protection. The shape of the turret front was also changed. In total, about 20 cars of this type were built and delivered to the Swedish army until 1940. It is worth adding that the main producer of these tanks was the Swedish AB Landsverk plant.
